Dr. Daeun (Dana) Choi
Assistant Professor of Ag Engineering, Specialty Crops
Research goals include strengthening current research programs in the area of precision agriculture combined with drones, robotics, data science, and ICT technology for specialty crops in Flroida. Dr. Choi will be guiding her research with collaborative efforts within and outside the department and GCREC, focusing on AI applications in agriculture. Long term vision includes integrating critical mission within research, teaching, extension and service to develop nationally and internationally recognized research and extension programs to fulfill the land-grant mission and education the next generation of ag engineers.
