UF/IFAS GCREC: Plant City Center
The UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research Center has a distance education program located in nearby Plant City.
The Plant City Center offers several undergraduate and graduate degree programs via distance education (DE). The center also teaches undergraduate degree completion programs and additional live and videoconferencing courses.
Distance Education Degree Programs
Distance education is a flexible solution that allows students to further their education while maintaining other responsibilities, such as a full-time job or family. These courses are taught through a variety of formats, including the internet, interactive DVD and CD, and videoconferencing.
At the Plant City Center, we strive to make sure all of our distance education courses meet the UF Standards and Markers of Excellence.
