Degree
All
applicants must submit:
-
An
on-line transfer student application
-
Applicants
must ensure that official transcripts are sent from each
higher-education institution attended to the Office of Admission, P.O.
Box 114000, Gainesville, FL 32611-4000. These records must document completion of the foreign language
requirement; if you completed the foreign language requirement
in high school then a high school transcript will need to be submitted
as well. Students who have previously attended the university do not
need to request University of Florida transcripts. Applicants who
currently are enrolled at another institution must send updated
transcripts as soon as grades for that term are available.
-
Most schools now send
electronic transcripts. If your school does not, it
is recommended that you request all transcripts to be sent to your
home address first and once you have received all of them mail to
the Office of Admissions (address is above). Do not open your
official transcripts upon receiving them as Admissions will not
accept it if the seal is broken.
o
If you
completed AP classes or CLEP exams while in high school, you must
have the testing agency send those scores to UF.
Critical
Notes:
-
You must
apply to a specific college and major. For Environmental
Horticulture please list TDS LNM - Plant City. For Natural
Resource Conservation please list NRC - Plant City. Students
must meet college and major requirements which consist of
pre-requisite courses and the minimum GPA required for their major.
-
Apply by
the deadline. In order for an application to meet the deadline;
the application, application fee, and ALL transcripts must be received
by the deadline date. Rule of thumb: you can apply up to one
year prior to your expected enrollment date.
