If you already work in the Industry and want to enroll in selected
courses... You may enroll as a non-degree seeking student in any of our courses. This means that you may take the course for credit and you will be tested and graded on the material covered. Courses taken as a non-degree status may later be transferred into a degree seeking program. However, UF will only accept a maximum of 9 credit hours to transfer into a degree program. You may also choose to audit a class. This means that you are provided with all of the same information and materials as other students, but you will not be required to take the exams nor will you receive a grade or credit for a course. The fees for non-degree or auditing courses are the same. Many key people within a business organization find that periodically auditing courses is a convenient way to stay abreast of the latest developments within the industry, as well as to become aware of future trends. They are then better able to make decisions based on current science and technology. To enroll in a course as a non-degree student please click here to complete the non-degree application. To audit a course contact the Academic Program Coordinator at 813-707-7330. Formal registration times are scheduled prior to each semester, but registration paperwork may be completed prior to these scheduled times. |
