Dr. James E. Dyer

Professor of Agricultural Education, Plant City Center

Dr. James Dyer is a professor in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication. His teaching focuses on developing and delivering courses that prepare students to become certified to teach agriculture in Florida. His extension program focuses on the professional development of teachers and providing leadership opportunities for students.

Dr. Dyer also conducts research in the area of effective teaching and learning strategies, methods, and techniques that best address the individual learning styles of students.
