Dr. Sydney Park Brown

Associate Professor and Extension Specialist in Consumer Horticulture

Dr. Park Brown is a state Extension Specialist in the area of Consumer Horticulture.  In this role, she develops educational resources such as publications, short courses, and other  training opportunities for the public as well as county Extension faculty. She also oversees a 1.8 Teaching Garden in Plant City, FL  – part of the teaching program offered at the GCREC-Plant City Center where Dr. Park Brown is the undergraduate and graduate coordinator of the Environmental Horticulture program. Students taking courses at the center can earn a Bachelor or Masters degree in landscape/nursery horticulture or simply increase their knowledge and expertise by taking courses or pursuing a Certificate.
