Dr. Feng Wu’s primary research interests are in statistical and econometric models and dynamic optimization with applications to the farm sector.
Dr. Wu's research activities focus on the following:
- quantitative modeling of agricultural economic decisions under risk and uncertainty;
- econometric techniques for efficiently identifying risk attitudes;
- risk management with an emphasis on the use of commodity futures and options; and
- simulation experiments to estimate the effects of alternative choices, risk-management instruments, strategies, and policies on individual and public welfare.
