Education meets Science/Research with Middleton High School...

Gulf Coast REC hosted a tour group from Middleton High School last month.  The group was invited by Dr. Zhanao Deng and is a magnet school that focuses on Environmental Studies, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, and Science.  The students were given a presentation by Christine Cooley, a tour, and a visit with Drs. Scott, Price and Deng.  The faculty were "treated" with a host of questions from the students.  Our center welcomes opportunities such as this to encourage eager students and generate interest in furthering educational opportunities for them.
