Biological Scientist - Nutrient Runoff/Landscape Research.  Emphasis of the research will be in the area of nutrient management to minimize surface and subsurface water degradation in an urban environment.  The employee will also be responsible for statistical analysis, summarization of data, preparation of reports and manuscripts.  Minimum qualifications are a BS degree with major course work in soils and/or horticulture with one year appropriate field and laboratory experience.  Competency with MS Excel and Word is preferred.  Experience with SAS or Minitab statistical software is preferred.

Official Chamber of Commerce Membership celebrated:  June 1, the Plant City Chamber of Commence celebrated the official chamber membership of the HCC/Plant City campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the UF/IFAS Plant City Campus facilities.  Dr. Jack Rechcigl, Director of the UF/IFAS Gulf Coast REC and Plant City Campus cuts the ribbon held by Dr. Felix Haynes, President of the Plant City Hillsborough Community College Campus.  Joining them are the chamber ambassadors as well as the faculty and staff of UF Plant City and HCC Plant City.
