ASHS (American Society for Horticultural Sciences) has chosen the website http://watermelons.ifas.ufl.edu, authored by Don Maynard and Joel Parlin, for an Extension Materials Award. 

The award will be presented at the upcoming ASHS meeting in New Orleans the end of July.  Congratulations Don and Joel!  Check out the website!

Welcome to our newest TEAMS gator...
Monica McGarrity is our new Biological Scientist for Dr. Steve Johnson. Monica received her MS in Biology from FL Atlantic University (Boca Raton). She worked as a teaching assistant  there and assisted in marine turtle research investigating environmental stress and disease.  Welcome aboard, Monica!
