The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with,
but whether it's the same problem you had last year.

Congratulations!

We have a winner!  Katrina Kelly, daughter of Cathy Provenzano and OPS for Jay Scott's tomato lab was recently announced as a winner of the University of Florida's tuition lottery, HEO (Higher Education Opportunity). This awards Katrina 132 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree at the University of Florida or a public community college in the state over a six-year period.
On another note of congratulations, she was recently chosen as a select group of students to speak with author Stephen King and up-and-coming author of "The Monsters of Templeton", Lauren Groff in a casual meeting on campus on March 27th.  Stephen King and Lauren Groff met to discuss her book, writing style, publishing, and education.  Afterwards, she attended a meeting of the two that was open to the public for a fee of $25 (book included) to attend "Lauren Groff in Conversation with Stephen King at USF Sarasota-Manatee's Selby Auditorium.  (Katrina must be living a charmed life lately!)
