Dr. Natalia Peres has been selected to receive the 2007 APS Hewitt and Ball Hewitt Award for her significant contributions in plant pathology. She will be presented with the award at the APS (American Phytopathology Society) annual meeting in San Diego, California this summer. |

In recognition of outstanding contributions to the science, profession, and industry of horticulture, Dr. Jay Scott has received the distinction of being elected as a Fellow of the American Society for Horticultural Science. Newly elected Fellows will be honored at the Awards Ceremony on Monday, July 16th during the opening session of the 104th Annual ASHS Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
