Urban Soil, Water and Nutrient Management Website
Dr. Shober’s
extension and research programs focus on soil, water and nutrient
management in urban landscapes. Her primary research
responsibilities are related directly to homeowner and commercial
landscape management practices with an emphasis on nutrient and soil
management to minimize water quality degradation (surface and
subsurface) in an urban environment. Dr. Shober also works
closely with county urban horticulture extension faculty to design
and deliver educational programming related to urban soil management
and
fertilizer use.
